# Paying Your Premium with InsureToday24

When you buy insurance through BNW Services LLC (doing business as InsureToday24), you are working with a licensed independent agency serving Missouri and Kansas — and some neighbors over in Nebraska. As an independent shop, we place your coverage with one of the 69-plus carriers we represent rather than a single home-office brand. That structure matters for one practical reason a lot of folks ask about: who do I actually pay, and how?

This guide walks through exactly where your premium dollars go, the payment paths you may see, and what to do when something looks off.

The Short Answer: You Usually Pay the Carrier

For most policies we place — your auto, home, renters, business, life — you pay the insurance carrier directly, not BNW Services. When your policy is issued, the carrier sets up your billing account and sends you statements, login details, or autopay enrollment. Your premium, payment schedule, and any installment fees are set by that carrier, not by us.

We stay in the picture as your agent. If a bill is confusing, a due date sneaks up, or you want to change how you pay, you call us and we sort it out with the carrier on your behalf. That is one of the quiet advantages of using an independent agent: you get a local human (and Lucy, our AI receptionist) instead of a 1-800 maze.

Products You Can Quote and Buy on insuretoday24.com

A couple of products on our site use the carrier's own embedded application and billing system:

When you use one of these embedded apps, you are completing the transaction with that provider's system. We are here to help you read the quote, pick the right coverage, and answer questions before you commit.

Paying BNW Directly: Square Checkout

Some payments to BNW Services itself — for example, a service fee or a charge we have specifically told you about — run through Square checkout on insuretoday24.com. Square is a widely used, PCI-compliant payment processor. You will see the Square-branded checkout screen, and your card information is handled by Square, not stored loosely by us.

A simple rule of thumb: if you are paying a recurring monthly or annual premium, that almost always goes to the carrier. If you are paying a one-time amount we asked you for, it likely runs through Square. When in doubt, ask us first. We will never push you to pay through a channel we did not set up.

Pay-in-Full or Monthly: Both Are Options

Most carriers we work with let you choose how to pay:

There is no single "right" answer. If cash flow is tight, monthly may be smarter even with the small fee. If you can pay the term at once, you usually save. We are happy to run the numbers with you. For a deeper look at the tradeoffs, see our guides on payment plans and how billing works.

Autopay, Due Dates, and Avoiding a Lapse

We strongly encourage enrolling in autopay with your carrier. A missed payment can trigger a lapse, and in Missouri and Kansas a lapse in auto coverage can mean driving without the financial responsibility both states require. A coverage gap can also raise your rate at renewal.

If money is going to be short, call us before the due date — (573) 594-5148. Many carriers offer a grace period or a one-time due-date adjustment, but those options shrink once a cancellation notice goes out. Acting early almost always beats reacting late.

Watch for Scams

Legitimate premium payments go to your named carrier or through the Square checkout on insuretoday24.com. Be cautious of anyone demanding payment by gift card, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency, or pressuring you to pay "right now or lose coverage." That is not how we or our carriers operate. The FTC and the NAIC both warn consumers about insurance-payment scams — when in doubt, hang up and call us directly at the number on this site.
